Our Mission

Various summer camps require parents to pay huge amount for their children to attend, but what about the kids in the North Carolina that are not lucky enough to come from families who can afford this experience?

We believe that each child deserves to experience summer camp, so we decided to figure out that, run camps for under-served communities to provide kids from disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity to go to camp at very nominal rates.

The Campers

These children can come from difficult backgrounds & can be entertained at affordable prices, for a lot of campers, it will be the one occasion within the year that they get an opportunity to run away from their home life & enjoy being a child in a encouraging and safe surrounding. As a result of their hard pre adolescence, campers may have educational needs, but even if they appear strong outside, they're still children who simply want to make friends and have fun and we’ll help make this happen! A lot of the volunteer staff on these camps who have been previous campers had such a great time, they want to stay attached.

Accommodation & Facilities

As most of the funding for the camp will be through Charity & Donations accommodation might be basic but we strive for kids to have experience of a true summer camp atmosphere! There will be log cabins, outside dining rooms and everyone’s favorite area of camp – the lake! Counselor will share cabins with the campers, and it will be here that you form your close bonds and community feel on camp.

Camp One More Day was founded by a group of individuals seeking to serve underprivileged children in North Carolina. Our team is ardent about sharing the love of Christ with the campers.

Swimming

Learning to swim at summer camp could be a rite of passage. But learning to swim not only provides a good foundation for building camp memories of sunny days spent at the waterfront, it has lifelong benefits as well. Certainly, there are the much required physical and mental benefits that we all know.
